HELP / WORKSPACE BASICS
Set up your first workspace
Prepare your business identity, customer information and team before you send your first quotation.
Before you begin
Use Moonbreak on a desktop or laptop for the full workspace experience. Have your business name, business contact information and a clear logo file ready. Choose one current customer and one product or service so your first setup has a real purpose.
- Use an email address you can access for account communication.
- Decide which business or team the workspace represents.
- Keep customer information you do not need out of the initial setup.
Create your account and check the workspace
Create your account through the registration page, or sign in with the email used for your invitation. The workspace name near the bottom of the app sidebar opens Workspace. Confirm the business shown there before adding records. Your personal name opens Account Settings; it does not change the business details clients see.
Open Moonbreak sign inAdd your business identity
Open the workspace name in the sidebar, then choose Workspace settings. Review Company Name, Email, Phone, Website, Address and Company Profile. Use Upload for the workspace logo and select Save Changes when the details are ready. These are business-facing details: use the identity your customers should recognize.
A workspace name, the billing provider for your Moonbreak subscription and the legal business details on your customer invoices serve different purposes. Check each carefully.
Choose the right view before adding records
Contact, Company and the document lists include Personal and Team views. Personal narrows the list to your own work; Team shows the records available to you in the active workspace. A filter does not grant additional permissions. Check both the active workspace and the selected view before assuming a record is missing.
Understand dashboard views and team activityAdd one customer and one offering
Create the customer’s contact and company records, then add the product or service you will quote. Use a specific description rather than an internal abbreviation the customer will not understand. Review the currency, price and quantity before putting the item into a quotation.
Prepare contacts and companiesInvite the people who need access
Decide who should administer the workspace and who will work on customer documents. Review your plan’s included seats and available roles before adding teammates. Use individual access rather than sharing one person’s credentials.
Understand team rolesCheck the first document before sharing
Create a quotation for the customer you added. Read the whole preview as if you were the recipient: the identity, scope, amounts, terms and next step should all be clear. Share only after you are satisfied that the document represents your business accurately.
- Correct workspace and customer.
- Readable logo and business details.
- Accurate item descriptions, quantities and prices.
- Clear expiry, payment and acceptance terms.
- Correct recipient and document link.
