LEGAL / ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
Acceptable Use Policy
Practical rules for using Moonbreak responsibly, protecting customer information and keeping shared documents and communications trustworthy.
Who and what this policy covers
This policy applies to the Moonbreak web service operated by SyncGuard LLC, including accounts, workspaces, documents, public links, emails and recordings. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Workspace owners should make sure their authorized users understand these requirements.
Use information and branding you are entitled to use
Use accurate identities and business information. Obtain the rights and permissions needed for customer records, logos, document content and recordings. Do not impersonate a business, conceal a material misrepresentation in a quotation, forge a signature or imply an endorsement you do not have. A white-label link is a presentation tool, not proof of business affiliation.
Send legitimate business communications
Do not use Moonbreak for spam, purchased-list blasts without a lawful basis, phishing, deceptive subjects or concealed sender identities. Honor legally required opt-outs and objections. Provide required sender details and a valid way to stop promotional messages. A stored contact is not automatically permission to send marketing. Sending a customer an agreed quotation is different from adding them to a promotional campaign.
Respect access controls and service capacity
Do not access another account or workspace without permission, share credentials to bypass seat limits, interfere with availability, or defeat security and usage controls. Do not scrape private customer information or use deceptive accounts to obtain access. Unlimited plan features support ordinary legitimate business use; they do not authorize bulk abuse or activities that materially disrupt other customers.
If we identify a capacity or misuse issue, we will assess the actual activity and use proportionate measures. We will not treat ordinary permitted use as a breach solely because it is commercially successful.
Keep unsupported sensitive information out
Do not use Moonbreak to store another service’s passwords, full payment-card security details or information that requires a special regulated environment we have not agreed to provide. Include only the personal information needed for your business task. Ask us about your requirements before uploading information whose handling depends on a specific contractual or technical safeguard.
Report a problem
Email team@moonbreak.com with the subject “Security or abuse” and a description, relevant document reference and approximate time. Send only the information needed to locate the issue; do not distribute exposed customer data or secrets. A person reporting an intellectual property concern should identify the work, the allegedly infringing material, their authority to report it and a contact address.
Report a security or abuse concernHow we respond
We may investigate a credible report, ask for clarification, remove or restrict affected content, or suspend access where reasonably necessary under the Terms. We aim to explain the action and allow correction when appropriate; urgent security risks or legal restrictions may prevent advance notice. Contact us if you believe a restriction was made in error. Reporting a concern in good faith does not authorize intrusive testing, access to another customer’s data or disruptive behavior.
