LEGAL / COOKIE POLICY
Cookie Policy
Understand Moonbreak’s website storage, optional website analytics, and the controls available to manage your preferences.
What this policy covers
This policy explains cookies and browser storage used on the Moonbreak marketing website operated by SyncGuard LLC. The signed-in web app runs on a separate subdomain and may use authentication and security storage to support the session. This page’s Cookie settings control the marketing website’s optional analytics; they do not sign you out of the app.
Storage used on this website
The website uses the following storage when the relevant choice or feature is active. Blocking storage does not prevent you from reading the marketing pages.
| Name or technology | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| moonbreak_cookie_preferences_v3 | Local storage that records your essential/optional choice, the notice version and analytics purpose, when you chose, and when the choice expires. It contains no account ID. | Choice expires after 180 days; an expired record is removed when the site next checks it. You can remove it earlier. |
| moonbreak_campaign | Session storage for selected campaign parameters, available only when website analytics is enabled and you allow it. | Current browser tab session. |
Website analytics is currently off. The first-visit notice explains the essential preference storage. “Continue” acknowledges that notice and does not authorize future analytics. If analytics is introduced, we will ask for a fresh choice before optional collection begins.
Storage in the signed-in web app
The app at app.moonbreak.com uses separate browser storage for sign-in and workspace behavior. The examples below describe storage observed in the web interface. Cookie settings on this marketing website does not control authentication, sign you out or clear an unfinished quotation in the app.
| Storage | Purpose | Your control |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase authentication cookie (sb-…-auth-token) and app session storage | Maintain the signed-in session and account access. | Use Sign out on shared devices. Browser controls can remove site data; blocking it may prevent sign-in. |
| spx_data_scope | Remember the Personal or Team data view. | Change the view in the app, or clear the preference in browser site-data settings. |
| quotation-store in session storage | Maintain quotation-builder state in the browser session. | Preserve or save intended work before clearing site data or closing the session. |
| Plan-notice preferences in local storage | Remember notices already shown for the account. | Remove them through browser site-data settings if you want to reset that local preference. |
Authentication lifetimes can change as a session is refreshed. Inspect expiry in your browser for a particular cookie. Clearing local storage does not cancel a subscription or delete the account’s server-side records.
Website analytics and the path to signup
Optional website analytics is currently off on this marketing website. We do not load Meta Pixel or another advertising tracker. Our preference controls do not create a website-activity history by themselves.
If we introduce our own website analytics, we will explain the collection and ask for permission first. Its purpose will be to understand how visitors find Moonbreak, which pages they explore, and which links lead toward signup or the mobile waitlist. Consent to that purpose will not authorize advertising tracking or promotional emails.
Campaign parameters already in a page URL may be carried into the next signup link. Remembering those parameters across pages in browser storage requires website analytics to be enabled and allowed. A click on a signup link does not confirm an account registration or payment.
The notice and this policy will describe the relevant technologies, providers and retention before optional analytics is introduced. A previous essential-storage acknowledgement or an advertising preference will not be reused as permission for a new purpose.
Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time. When website analytics is available, choose “Reject analytics,” or switch Website analytics off and save. This stops further optional collection and removes campaign storage controlled by this website. Withdrawing consent cannot undo information already processed; you can contact us about applicable privacy rights.
- Open Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
- Review the current status. If website analytics is available, choose Reject analytics or change the switch and select Save preferences.
- Use your browser’s privacy settings to inspect or remove site data. Preferences apply to this browser and website; other devices have their own settings.
If your browser prevents preference storage, your choice applies during the current visit but may not survive a reload. We show a notice when that happens. Optional analytics stays off without a valid choice. Declining analytics does not prevent access to pages, pricing, signup links or help.
Browser privacy signals and renewed choices
We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC), when conveyed by your browser setting or Sec-GPC request header, by keeping optional website analytics off on this website as our privacy default. An active signal takes precedence over an earlier allowance. Cookie settings explains when that browser choice is being honored.
The site checks the browser’s privacy signal before allowing optional website analytics. If that check is unavailable, optional website analytics stays off. This check does not require an account or use a location lookup. It does not change storage in the signed-in app.
We remember a saved choice for up to 180 days. An expired choice or a material change to the notice or analytics setup requires a fresh choice. Clearing browser storage can also cause the notice to appear again. Browsing, scrolling, closing settings or ignoring the notice does not grant permission.
Other services and browser controls
Links to the Moonbreak app, Stripe, or other websites take you to services with their own storage and privacy behavior. The marketing website’s choice cannot remove cookies belonging to an unrelated domain. Browser settings can provide additional controls, but blocking authentication storage may affect signing in to a service.
