The workspace business controls its records; Moonbreak processes them to provide the service.

Privacy requests and optional measurement controls are explained below.

Who is responsible for this notice

SyncGuard LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, operates the Moonbreak website and web service. In this notice, “Moonbreak,” “we,” and “us” refer to SyncGuard LLC. Contact team@moonbreak.com about this notice or a privacy request.

This notice covers the marketing website, web workspace, support enquiries, and mobile waitlist. The planned mobile app is associated with Appquant Technologies, Inc. Its applicable operator details and notices will be provided with the mobile service. Joining the waitlist does not create a mobile app account.

Our role and your workspace’s role

For website enquiries, account administration, subscription billing, and our own communications, we determine why the information is used. Where applicable privacy law uses that term, we act as a controller for those purposes.

A business using Moonbreak decides which client records, documents, messages, and recordings to put into its workspace and who may access them. For that customer content, we process information to provide the service to the workspace. The workspace business remains responsible for its collection, instructions, permissions, and notices to its contacts.

If your information appears in a customer’s quote, invoice, or contact record, contact that business first about its use of the information. We can help direct a request to the appropriate workspace where needed.

The appropriate role depends on the processing, not simply the label used in a contract. We remain responsible for our own obligations under applicable privacy law. This notice is not a substitute for a data processing agreement where one is required. Contact us about the contractual and operational requirements before relying on the service for a regulated processing arrangement.

Information we receive

Information can come from you, a workspace owner or colleague, a document recipient, payment and communication providers, and the browser or device used to access the service. Required account and billing information is needed to provide the requested service; optional profile information and optional website analytics permission are not required to read this website.

Why information is used

We use information to provide and support the features you request, manage the business relationship, and protect the service. Under laws that require a legal basis, the applicable basis depends on the purpose and the relationship.

  • Account access, workspace collaboration, document sharing, and subscription administration support our agreement with the customer.
  • Support, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and service reliability support our legitimate interests in operating a dependable service, subject to the rights of individuals.
  • Accounting, lawful requests, and recordkeeping may be necessary to meet legal obligations.
  • Optional website analytics and mobile waitlist updates use the permission given through the relevant website controls or form. Permission can be withdrawn.
  • Customer content is processed to carry out the workspace’s instructions and provide the requested features.

Shared documents, messages, and recordings

Workspace members can access content according to their role and the workspace’s settings. A recipient with access to a shared document can view its content, and a person with the public link may be able to open it. Links may also be forwarded by their recipients. Treat a public quote or invoice link as information you are choosing to share.

Email and document activity can show a workspace when content is opened, viewed, or acted on, depending on the feature and plan. Technical privacy settings and automated systems can affect these events. A signature and related document information become part of the record available to the workspace.

Recordings can capture information visible on the chosen screen and, when enabled, camera or microphone content. Users should obtain any required permissions and check the material before sharing it.

A white-label corporate.systems address identifies a business’s chosen public-link prefix; Moonbreak still provides the underlying document service. The business that sent the link controls the commercial document. Contact that business about its content, payment instructions and its use of recipient activity.

Providers and other recipients

We use service providers to host and operate the website and workspace, handle support and communications, and process subscription payments. They receive information relevant to the service they provide. Stripe handles payments for web subscriptions. When the hosted mobile waitlist is enabled, Supabase stores signups and Resend delivers confirmation messages.

Optional website analytics is currently off on the marketing website, and no Meta Pixel or other advertising tracker is loaded. If we introduce our own analytics, we will identify the relevant technologies, providers and purposes and request permission before optional collection begins. Website analytics permission will not authorize advertising tracking.

Information can also be shared at your direction, with the workspace and its intended recipients, in response to a valid legal requirement, or when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security, or safety. If the business is reorganized or transferred, relevant information may be handled as part of that process, subject to applicable protections.

Where information is processed

Moonbreak serves businesses in different locations, and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable law requires a transfer mechanism or other safeguards, those requirements apply to the processing. Contact us for information relevant to your location and service; this notice does not assert that a particular certification covers every transfer.

How long information is kept

We keep information for the period needed for the purpose for which it was collected, taking account of the workspace’s instructions, legal obligations and proportionate security or dispute-resolution needs. We assess the relationship, the type of record and whether it is still needed. Different categories have different retention criteria.

Account closure, subscription cancellation and a request to delete personal information are different actions. Backups, legally required records and documents retained by a customer or recipient may not disappear when an account is closed. We will explain applicable limits when responding to a request rather than promise immediate deletion of every copy.

CategoryRetention criteria
Account and workspace recordsThe active service relationship, authorized instructions and the purpose of the record; then applicable deletion, legal or dispute requirements.
Billing and transaction recordsTax, accounting and transaction-verification requirements, including resolving disputed charges.
Support and security recordsThe time needed to handle the issue, prevent or investigate abuse, and address related legal obligations.
Waitlist informationProviding the requested mobile availability updates, withdrawal of consent or removal from the list.
Website preferencesThe browser-storage periods described in the Cookie Policy.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to know about processing, access or correct information, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. Where applicable, rights can also include opting out of targeted advertising or the sale or sharing of personal information, limiting certain sensitive-information uses, using an authorized agent, and appealing a denied request. We will not deny a legally available right merely because you choose to exercise it.

  1. Email team@moonbreak.com with “Privacy request” in the subject and describe the request.
  2. Identify the account or workspace and your relationship to the information. Do not include a password or unnecessary identification documents.
  3. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or authority and to locate the records.
  4. For customer content controlled by a workspace, we may direct you to its owner or assist the owner with the request.
  5. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled in whole or part, we will explain the reason and any available appeal or complaint route. To ask us to review a decision, reply to the response or email team@moonbreak.com with “Privacy appeal”.

Consent withdrawal applies going forward and does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing. Verification and legal exceptions may affect the response. Where applicable, you can complain to the privacy regulator in your place of residence or work without first using our appeal process.

Website analytics and privacy choices

Website analytics is currently off. When it is introduced, Cookie settings will let you allow or decline measurement of website visits and the path toward signup. We honor Global Privacy Control conveyed by the browser setting or request header by keeping optional website analytics off as our privacy default. Refusing analytics will not prevent access to the marketing website. Contact team@moonbreak.com for help with applicable privacy or opt-out rights.

Our website controls affect this marketing site. They do not change the separate signed-in app’s authentication storage or the storage policies of an external destination. Use browser controls to review those separately.

Review technologies and storage controls

Marketing preferences and the waitlist

You can decline optional website analytics through Cookie settings. To stop mobile waitlist updates or request removal from the waitlist, reply to an email you received or contact team@moonbreak.com. Service and billing messages needed to administer an active account are different from optional promotional messages.

Security and responsible use

We take reasonable measures appropriate to the information and the service to protect against unauthorized access, use or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. We will handle personal-information incidents in accordance with our legal and contractual obligations, including required notifications. This notice does not claim a particular security certification or a guarantee against every incident.

Protect account access, assign appropriate roles and review public links before sharing. Email team@moonbreak.com promptly if you suspect exposure or unauthorized use, with enough context to locate the issue but without passwords, full card details or copies of unrelated customer data.

Children and changes to this notice

The web service is intended for adults acting for business purposes and is not directed to children. Do not submit a child’s personal information unless there is a lawful, necessary business reason and any required authorization. If you believe information has been collected inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

We will update this notice when relevant processing changes and provide additional notice or seek consent where required. An updated policy is not a substitute for consent to a materially different use where the law requires it. The date identifies the current website revision.
