See the activity around your offer
A quotation rarely becomes a decision in one moment. A customer may open the email, return to the document, download it or leave a question. Client signals bring relevant activity into view so your next follow-up can be grounded in the work.
Use the available information to understand what may need attention. A question about scope deserves a useful answer; a quiet quote may need a short check-in rather than another long sales message.
Know which signals your plan includes
Email opens are available on every plan. Paid plans add click tracking, quote and invoice view tracking, email notifications and team activity. Pro and Scale add the client engagement timeline.
Compare engagement featuresTurn context into a relevant next step
Choose the next action based on the business conversation as well as the recorded event.
| What you notice | A useful response |
|---|---|
| The client asks about an item | Clarify what is included and point to the relevant scope. |
| A quote has been viewed | Ask whether a specific question is holding up the decision. |
| An invoice needs attention | Confirm that the right person has the invoice and payment details. |
| There is no recent activity | Check the recipient and agree a helpful time to reconnect. |
Keep the limits of tracking in mind
Email privacy features can load images automatically, while security scanners can visit links before a human does. Image blocking can hide opens. A customer may also share a document internally, so activity is not a complete picture of one person’s intentions.
Use recorded activity alongside replies, calls you arrange yourself and your agreed next steps. Avoid telling a customer that a tracking event proves they read or accepted an offer.
Troubleshoot email and activity signalsCommon questions
Does a document view mean the deal is won?
No. Confirm the customer’s decision and the agreed scope. A viewed document is an engagement signal, not acceptance.
Are follow-ups sent automatically?
The launch workflow gives you context for your own follow-up. This page does not describe automated follow-up sending.
Can signals help a manager?
Yes. Paid team activity and the additional visibility on Pro and Scale can help a manager understand the work alongside conversations with the team.
